Farhang Foundation Film Festival Rules and Guidelines
Filmmakers are encouraged to produce a Music Video that is:
- innovative and empowering, exploring the ancient and contemporary components of IRANIAN HERITAGE and CULTURE
- a visual and musical medium sparking the audience’s interest in learning more about the culture and history of Iran.
All submitted videos are judged by:
• creativity
• quality
• originality
• and most importantly by level of inspiration!
NOTE: This is an internet based film festival and competition.

Winner announcement: March 1, 2010
Award Presentation: March 14 & 15, 2010

One movie per filmmaker.
Only the person submitting the movie is entitled to this competition.
All movies in a language other than English must have standard English subtitles.

About Farhang Foundation
Farhang Foundation is a non-religious, non-political and not-for-profit foundation established in 2008 to celebrate the art and culture of Iranian-Americans in its widest extent. The foundation supports academic activities in Southern California by funding university programs, publications and conferences. The foundation also supports cultural programs such as celebration of Noruz and Mehregan, Iranian plays, dance performances, films screenings and poetry reading in Southern California. Farhang Foundation, n cooperation with various cultural and academic institutions plans major programs and exhibitions about Iran and its culture.
