This blog is about what it means to be a creative person, particularly as it relates to painting. But much of what I have to say can be generalized. All human beings are innately creative, even the most uncurious psychopaths. In fact, I would argue that to be human is to be creative.

On Sunday, March 27th, the Iranian ensemble “Dang Show” performed to a sold-out show in Downtown Los Angeles’ Zipper Hall. Famed Iranian actor Reza Kianian took to the stage to introduce the band, explaining that the music is influenced by past favorites from the musical golden era of the 60’s and 70’s.
