Armando Ruiz and artist collaborator Nancy Baker Cahill will discuss the unique process of creating “Unprecedented,” and lead a collage workshop at the Levantine Cultural Center. Ruiz and Baker Cahill will also share about the art program at Homeboy Industries, an organization that assists at-risk and formerly gang-involved youth in becoming positive contributors to society.

Armstrong performed for most of his nearly 100 years of life, ever since his father carved his first fiddle from a wooden crate.
